INJUSTICE! When services that we pay to protect us,
COMPLETELY FAIL!
Jessica Scatterson
Social Media:
Jessica Scatterson was just 12 years old.
This sweet innocent child committed suicide by hanging herself!
A shocking and disturbing end to one so young, and this young girls death impacted very many people.
Family, friends, and those that followed her on social media were devastated.
Her family would have been in total disbelief ... Their degree of helplessness would have been completely immeasurable.
knowing that the pain of losing any child becomes a life changing, traumatic, and extremely painful experience.
Jessica Scatterson.
Ttrolls:
Jessica was a very popular young lady on social media, and many fans loved her.
But sadly amongst those fans were those lurking like a disease, that can never be cured.
These poisonous harassers just can't resist tormenting people with their pointless jealousy!
They completely fail to ever imagine how their hateful text messages can damage such a young developing mind.
Jessica was born on April the 24th 2004, and died on April the 22nd 2017.
From the reports its assumed that she passed away just two days before her 13th birthday.
The police on attendence discovered some very disturbing messages and drawings in Jessica’s room.
They also found several references to both suicide, and death.
CONSTANTLY BULLIED!
Jessica Scatterson.
Bullied:
She was clearly a troubled soul, during those days leading up to her death.
She had returned home with scratches on her face, and a swollen eye.
It was revealed that she had been in a fight with another girl, and it had been reported to the police.
Unfortunately and possibly as usual, the police took no action..!
She was clearly in above her head, given all the social media pressures, and now this!
Wendy Walsh, was an emotional well-being coordinator at Jessica's school.
It could be agreed that her comments about 'young people not having the skills to cope with such overwhelming emotions', is true.
However, a comment no matter how profound, cannot change the fact that this will continue to happen unless preventive measures are taken.
Its quite simple to add an algorithm to prevent swearing in emails, most governmental websites have this already.
And its equally as easy to implement one that blocks and deletes all threats, then automatically informs the sender that one more will get them banned?
Happier times.
Suicide:
She had posted a photo of her foot next to the phrase 'RIP', on social media.
This occurred just a few hours before she actually committed suicide.
Wise friends having seen this image, phoned the police as they were very worried about her.
The Police in response woke her father Christopher at around 3.45am on April 22.
And then they heard screams from within the house, and they rushed to her bedroom, and tried desperately to resuscitate her.
Paramedics on arrival pronounced her dead.
She had written 'RIP', on her heel, and she was surrounded by soft toys.
Jessica had named her alleged bullies in a suicide note, and all the abusive messages were discovered on her iPad.
What is so sad is that if she had just confided in someone, simple words may have saved her life.
Those words could be 'you don't have to take this abuse, take a step back, delete the apps, because you are much too good for all this'.
Life isn't an easy passage, and staying strong, and being true to yourself is paramount.
Never allow people to make you feel bad, just take the high ground, and stay positive.
Have a private tantrum, shout swear, but then sit down and console yourself, you will feel better. Then most importantly, speak to someone!
Keep telling yourself you are in charge of your feelings, not others, you must never let them in..!
These are words that have proved to be effective, and life sustaining, so tell yourself each day, because you're worth it!
She loved social media.
Jealous Fools:
Deaths like this should be a lesson to people.
It doesn't matter how popular you are in social circles.
If you feel yourself under any pressure, then shut it all down, delete the media apps.
Block bad callers, and take your life into another direction.
Sometimes being popular isn't always what you think it will be.
For the genuine fans, yes, that's great, but always be aware that there are people out there that have no empathy whatsoever.
Their only traits are jealousy and hatred, so if you can't block them and they bother you a lot, cut them out of your life completely.
An app on a phone will never be your friend, neither will social media, its owned by someone making money.
If no-one is trying to hurt you, then just use it for your genuine friends, but always be safe.
Don't give out personal information about yourself, and no pictures is always much wiser.
Immediately that you feel your mood is going down, or you're feeling hurt by someones words, then immediately use that 'Delete' button.
Its what it is for! No-one has any right to make you feel down, rise above them, and don't give them your power.
Passive Murder:
In order to qualify the above statement.
Being in the public eye may seem like a buzz.
However when others start to diss you, it can get too much.
Whitney Houston was a great example ... She was a very powerful woman! Or was she really?
People disrespected her on many occasions, and even after her death, I recall the many arguments I had defending her on social media.
These sad individuals seemed only capable of remembering the fact that she had used drugs.
But no-one had ever considered the massive pressures that she must have had to endure.
You won't like my next few words, but here they are ... She was just a little girl inside.
A sweet wonderful human being, with a voice and a smile to die for.
Her fame was well deserved, and I remember a time that she took my breath away.
She was singing the American anthem live, and she hit a note, that I could never begin to reach even with a ladder!
And there it was, at the same time, that incredible smile, and how easy she made it all look.
But sadly deep inside of her, the pressure was taking its toll. Drugs are common in famous circles, because not everyone is as confident as they may seem?
People that harass others may not realise it, but if that person ends their life, then the harasser is guilty of passive murder.
Its not the taker of drugs that you should ever blame, its those that push them.
Drugs change people, and they're quite unaware of these changes, they lose the ability to distinguish between right and wrong.
The worst effect is the loss of empathy, and this in effect is when you lose your loyal and true friends.
A lot of people are then able to simply use you, like an ATM machine.
But just like her song, 'we will always love her'.
And that goes for Jessica too, along with all those on this site, we hopefully all feel the same, and in our hearts and minds, they will always live on..!
