INJUSTICE! When services that we pay to protect us,
COMPLETELY FAIL!
Justice, or Just Ice?
What defines justice?
It can often depend on cultures.
Whereas one persons attitude is acceptable in one culture, it can be unacceptable in another.
So is there any neutral ground, and can we ever expect it to be something world-wide?
The basics would depend upon ethics, rationality, law, religion, equity and also fairness.
We are indeed lucky that the likes of Henry the eighth are now portrayed as the cruel reality of history.
Anne Boleyn, was a brave and courageous woman that died forgiving this misogynistic sociopathic King.
She had witnessed her own brother and other males falsely accused, being beheaded just a few days previous to her own execution, (MURDER).
Recent proof has been discovered that Henry had planned the whole beheading, even before he accused her.
She was innocent of any crimes towards this psychopath, and he was completely undeserving of her loyalty.
Her death in my mind, is now celebrated as the strength of woman, and the weakness of man!
Even a king is simply a mortal, and if he'd actually understood that concept, he would never have been so dispassionate.
The murder of a Queen: 19th of May 1536. (Tuesday Morning).
Justice throughout history:
Its truly something that has always been dictated, rarely requested.
Whether this was by some dictating royal, a governmental vote, or even law decrees.
Royals such as the like of Henry the 8th, of whom would simply cut off a woman's head, just so he could remarry!
Referendum and electoral votes purely discount those that vote against it, thus they feel dictated towards?
And finally a law is commonly known to be something that will inevitably be broken.
The philosophical, such as, John Locke, John Stuart Mill, John Rawls, Robert Nozick, Plato, Aristotle, believed that they all each knew the answer.
Yet here we are in 2021, whilst unfairness and prejudice still dictates our lives throughout?
I'd be lying if I denied once believing that I myself had the answers also, but lost faith along the way!
But as the saying goes, 'if at first you don't succeed, try, try again'.
Opinions belong to you, and they all differ, from God to Science, and whatever else you feel that justifies your own thoughts?
However, science and religion quite often form a basis of discipline divergence that defies establishing concord between people.
Its quite often noticed that in science simple logic always seems to answer the most complex fields of discipline.
Whereas religion is based on trust, (Faith).
Therefore, could it be said that an easier way to avoid conflict, would be to agree to disagree?
I've quite often tried to convince a racist to think about how they would feel if it was themselves, or their relatives being discriminated against.
But convincing someone to put themselves in anothers shoes, is harder than you can imagine.
And given those failures, it will never stop me from trying!
SCIENCE AND RELIGION!
Never give up:
Over the years I have written many dissertations on this subject.
And sadly they have always failed to establish a consensus.
Just as all the famous philosophers have done, throughout all of history.
You cannot force an opinion on anyone, but you are entitled to have one!
Ad hominem, appeals towards someones personal considerations rather than to any facts or reason.
So calling people discriminatory names will never get you your vote.
Having a tolerance between disciplines are much closer to the requirement of true peace and justice.
We often hear how cruel some religions once were, by the sacrificing of human lives, just to gain favour with some divine spirit?
But its not so much remembered of how science used electronic shock treatments for people with mental health issues.
Or how they were deprived of their dignity and understanding, to force them to become well again.
What of the animals that died in sheer agonising pain, whilst a white coated fool looked upon them?
People were painfully experimented on, and many died from those results.
What I'm saying is, in this day and age we need both disciplines, and there has to be an equilibrium, or simple tolerance of opinions.
Neither discipline is perfect, but as an Atheist, I do find that religion is something that can still help people with psychological issues.
Quite often a scientific fact is simply cold and calculative, whilst for those that need consoling find warmth in their beliefs.
What I'm saying is, that you can't always fix things using only a theory?
Even a fact can be denied if the person involved does not wish to believe it.
Science and Religion.
Passing on Traits:
In a broader sense of understanding, language also becomes a barrier.
But language could be described as simply misunderstanding someones views.
The greater issue in misconstruing someone, is said to be the fact that people only listen to one side of a story.
To understand religion, you need to understand the believer.
They may have been indoctrinated at an early age, so no amount of science will ever change their beliefs.
And you quite often hear of people finding God, but normally from a great traumatic experience within their lives.
And even though I myself have no such belief, I think that its a good thing, because it keeps them alive, and gives them hope.
WORLDWIDE FREEDOM.
Try Studying, Not Judging:
Tolerance is something we can adapt when we wish to keep peace between differing factions.
However, it would be much wiser, to discover the facts behind any, and all beliefs.
We often hear, that no-one is perfect, so it would logically follow that all disciplines have faults too.
As to what I myself really believe in, then I would have to conclude it to be, Mother Nature.
She is cruel, harsh, unforgiving, and yet so beautiful, kind, and life supporting.
The above would take too long to explain, other than being totally diverse and yet so very tolerant?
In 2021, we have finally realised we are killing her, and ourselves alike.
Children are dying with breathing difficulties, and yet the polluting traffic still moves forward?
Communication:
There is no one simple answer to appease all life.
Yet there is one thing that we all must share, and that is the world in which we live.
And when you have finished writing your million books on how to obtain peace and fairness, the answer is sitting right in front of you.
Justice can only be achieved by talking and listening to each other, and either accepting, tolerating, or simply by walking away.
The latter is not a perfect answer, but walking away means, no action taken, and no injustice, or violence enacted.
Simple logic, I either like something or I dislike it, but I never hate anything, because hate always destroys the hater..!
Justice is highly unlikely to ever be seen for myself, or for many of those depicted on my websites.
But the simple fact is, that it will neither be ignored, or ever fogotten.
And one day all those lives will be noted by history and re-celebrated once more.
Conclusively in its own naturalistic manner, that is as close to true JUSTICE as any of us will ever achieve?
Speak your mind, air your own opinions, but add the secret ingredient ... 'LISTEN'?
