Fundamental human rights are what you are allowed to be, what you can do, and what you can have.
Those rights are protection against others that may wish to harm or abuse you.
They stand for peace and harmony amongst all people.
The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed way back in 1948.
World wars had taught us that to avoid pointless deaths, we needed to protect everyone, and not just the few.
This declaration was designed to provide a common understanding towards every persons basic human rights.
Thus forming a basis for our world to be built upon, such as freedom, justice, and peace!
In a perfect world, we would never be required to fight against injustice.
But all throughout history, and right up to the present day, mankind has continued to ignore its own failings.
Education needs to understand its critical role in the creation of developing minds.
