George Floyd was a 46 year old male.
Murdered by the Police.
George Floyd, a gentle giant.
He never demanded respect, but he clearly deserved it. When will education catch up, and teach people, never to judge?
I can't breath!
Making a point.
You can't ban human nature!
Injustice anywhere is a threat to Justice everywhere!
GEORGE FLOYD WAS A GENTLE GIANT!
People were being urged not to protest about the alleged murder of George Floyd.
Its a big ask when considering that both Covid-19, and dying of injustice are equal risks?
Paramedic is ignored, and the cops knee stays on Floyds neck.
Its clear to see that Floyd is now unresponsive.
Claustrophobic:
George Floyd wasn't putting up any struggle.
He was actually being respectful, and he was absolutely no danger to any of these officers.
Its fair to say that he was intoxicated, and a little unsteady on his feet, but he didn't struggle, and he was fully compliant with these officers.
No one could judge him for his past, he had paid for whatever he had done. He was simply trying to start over, but got no breaks.
Floyd was claustrophobic, and yet his basic human rights were not only ignored, they were deliberately denied to him.
This occurred in 2020, so do these so-called PC laws actually improve things, or simply make them worse?
What is perfectly clear here is the hatred and resentment shown towards Floyd, directly from 4 police officers.
Two of which had undergone many other complaints within their chequered history.
Twenty Dollars:
George Floyd died in Minneapolis on the 25th of May 2020, in Minnesota.
This followed after Derek Chauvin, a police officer, had knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes whilst George lay face down handcuffed on the street begging for his life.
Two other officers further restrained Floyd, and a fourth officer prevented onlookers from intervening.
He was being arrested on suspicion of using a counterfeit twenty dollar bill at a nearby market.
Cop arrogantly ignores people asking for leniency.
COPS IGNORED HIS PLEAS!
Could Not Breath:
George had cried out, "My stomach hurts, my neck hurts, everything hurts".
Clearly indicating that his system was shutting down. Do these cops know anything?
He was heard to request water, and begged them, "Please don't kill me".
One witness pointed out that Floyd was bleeding from the nose.
George repeated at least 16 times that he could not breathe.
He cried out "Mama!" twice, these words from any male, are words that you would only ever hear from them when wounded on a war torn battle field.
Heartbreaking:
After Floyd had said, "I'm about to die",
a witness shouted: "You got him down. Let him breathe".
Another witness shouted, "he's not resisting arrest or nothing. You're enjoying this, look at you, your body language says it all".
Ambulance and firefighter crews stated in their their reports that the police officers had given unclear information regarding to Floyd's condition and whereabouts.
During the final three minutes Floyd was motionless and had no pulse.
Whilst onlookers repeatedly pleaded to let Floyd go, the officers made no attempt to revive him,
and Chauvin's knee remained on his neck, even as the emergency medical technicians attempted to treat him.
Ignorance must truly be bliss?
Almost nine minutes, and this cop just smiles to himself!
Homicide:
George Floyd was pronounced dead at 9:25 at the Hennepin County Medical Center emergency room.
Two autopsies declared Floyd's death to be a homicide.
From the offset of this arrest, George had been polite calm, and respectful to the arresting officers.
He was Claustrophobic, and was never offered any assurances, or alternative treatment.
As for the alleged fake $20 dollar bill, is that the price we put on a mans life?
No Proof:
They said that he was intoxicated!
So doesn't that make it possible for someone else to have passed that phoney bill onto him?
Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty, and the benefit of the doubt?
Chauvin of whom was responsible for kneeling on George Floyds neck, already had 18 complaints on his official record.
Two of which resulted in disciplinary actions, including official letters of reprimand.
Chauvin had been involved in three police shootings, and one of them was a fatality.
He was also a part time bouncer, and his employer stated that he was often way over aggressive.
How does America stoop to allowing guys like this, to police it..?
HISTORICAL VERDICT!
Update: 21/04/2021.
A page in history:
And that page was written today.
Derek Chauvin was found guilty on three charges: second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and manslaughter.
Even so, it can never bring back George, or mend the broken hearts of his family and friends.
But its a victory, even though a slightly hollow one, as it was felt that first degree murder was the real crime committed?
Watching the case, and then hearing the verdict, was highly emotional.
Maybe this systemic racism will finally start to decline, now that the police have been sent a direct message?
Finally, the last words from George Floyds sister, Bridgett Floyd...
She wants the world to remember George Floyd as a Loving, Generous, Kind, Gentle Giant, that meant no harm to anyone.
And no one can ever deny those sentiments!
Deepest condolences to Bridgett and family.
